stan: Sebastian Stan and Renate Reinsve will star in psychological thriller ‘A Different Man’

LOS ANGELES: Hollywood star Sebastian Stan will star with Norwegian actor Renate Reinsve in an upcoming psychological thriller from studio A24.

Titled “A Different Man,” the project comes from filmmaker Aaron Schimberg, known for films such as “Go Down Death” and “Chained for Life,” according to Deadline.

Written by Schimberg, the story follows Edward, an outcast in search of a new life and a fresh start. It centers on a man who plays him in a musical based on his former life after undergoing facial reconstruction surgery.

“A Different Man” will be produced by Jason Reif, Christine Vachon and Gabriel Mayers of Killer Films, Vanessa McDonnell of Grand Motel Films and Christine Vachon and Gabriel Mayers.

The film will begin production in July.


Stan is best known for playing superhero Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He was recently featured in the Hulu limited series “Pam & Tommy,” opposite Lily James, and the Searchlight thriller “Fresh,” starring Daisy Edgar-Jones.

Reinsve found worldwide popularity after starring in filmmaker Joachim Trier’s Oscar-nominated film “The Worst Person in the World.” She will next be seen in ‘The Governess’ with actor Lily-Rose Depp and ‘Squid Game’ star Hoyeon.
