Max Scherzer and Zack Wheeler headlining

Sunday’s Major League Baseball slate on FanDuel features 14 games starting at 1:05 p.m. ET.

The four throwers projected to score the most fantasy points are:

Max Scherzer (D)

Zach wheeler (D)

Carlos Rodon (L)

Corbin Burnes (D)

The ball pattern projects the pitcher to have the highest ceiling is Max Scherzer of the Washington Nationals. Last time on the mound, Scherzer pitched just 3.2 innings against the San Diego Padres. At the start, he allowed seven earned runs, including two home runs. Easily his worst start to the season. Hoping to bounce back from the MLB All-Star break, Scherzer and the Nationals will face the Padres again in the final game of the series. Although the Nationals are currently on a five-game losing streak, they are still only 5.5 games away from the division leading the New York Mets.

The pitcher with the third most strikeouts (145) in Zach wheeler of the Philadelphia Phillies. Although his record is just 6-5, Wheeler leads all of his team’s starting pitchers with a 2.26 ERA, a WHIP of 0.97 and a WAR of 4.8. Like Scherzer, Wheeler struggled on his last start. In 5.2 innings, he allowed seven runs on eight hits while striking out just six opposing hitters. Wheeler will be on the mound against the Miami Marlins, who are fourth in strikeouts (896) in baseball.

A launcher that is slated for a fantastic high output but is not rated highly on Bales Model is Carlos Rodon of the Chicago White Sox. Rodon pitched very well throughout the first half of the MLB season. In 83.2 innings pitched, Rodon struck out 118 batters, is 6-3, 0.99 WHIP and 2.37 ERA. Even if he knew how to limit the damage, Rodon allowed a lot of runners on bases recently. Another possible reason for Rodon to disappear is that he has allowed one or more earned runs in his last eight starts. He will pitch against the Houston Astros, who lead the MLB in team scoring points (504 points) in 93 games played.

The most expensive launcher on FanDuel is Corbin Burnes brewers in Milwaukee. As a Brewers fan it’s an incredible sight with a handful of strong aces on the slate. Burnes has been electric for the first half of the MLB season, so he really deserves this award. In 87.2 innings pitched, he struck out 128 opposing hitters while walking only 15 enemies. Burnes and the Brewers hope to complete a three-game sweep against the Cincinnati Reds to start the second half of the season. Another reason to back Burnes is that the Reds are screened for the second lowest implied point total on the slate (3.6 points).

If you’d rather save on your paycheck to stock up on powerful hitters, here’s a list of pitchers to consider:

Joe musgrove (D)

Rich hill (L)

Wade LeBlanc (L)

These three pitchers are screened for a high points / salary output on the ball model. To emphasize, the highest rated pitcher on the entire slate is Joe musgrove of the San Diego Padres. Although Scherzer is on the mound opposite Musgrove, the Padres are only -102 underdogs on the road. Musgrove is one of the main reasons why this is the case.

Noticeable battery

The best projected point stack comes to you from the Los Angeles Dodgers with an odds of -152:

  • Max Muncy (L)
  • Justin turner (D)
  • Will smith (D)
  • Cody bellinger (L)

The Dodgers have the highest projected implied points total on the slate (6.7 points) and are once again hoping to enjoy playing at Coors Field. In the first two games of the series, the Dodgers scored a total of 19 points. Even if Mookie betts left Saturday’s game due to hip irritation, the Dodgers still have a very powerful offense. On FanDuel, this stack will set you back $ 16,000 in salary and should total a fantastic 58.2 points.

Other hitters

The game away from the Dodgers against the Rockies that is expected to generate a high implied point total will be between the Minnesota Twins and the Detroit Tigers. Screened for 5.6 and 5.1 points, respectively, this game has a handful of hitters scoring high on the Bales model.

A player who is enjoying a landmark year for the Detroit Tigers is Jonathan schoop. He’s currently on an eight-game hitting streak, which includes three multi-shot games.

The bullet model predicts that the highest point / highest salary on the slate for FanDuel is Vidal brujan stingrays from Tampa Bay. While he only has one hit in his 12 MLB at sticks, it’s a strong name worth considering as he’s priced at the minimum FanDuel price of $ 2,000 on the calendar.

Finally, here are a handful of hitters to consider when making your lineups that are projected for high pay / fantasy points:

  • Isaac Paredes
  • Rowdy Tellez
  • Pavin Smith
  • Derek Hill
  • Jace peterson
