LincolnHealth drive-in flu clinics will begin later this month and run through October 22. All clinics are offered Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Lincoln Medical Partners (LMP) locations in Damariscotta, Boothbay Harbor and Wiscasset. LMP’s Waldoboro team will be offering the flu vaccine at the Waldoboro City offices on September 27, October 10, and October 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Supplies permitting, the bivalent COVID-19 booster shot will be available at clinics in Damariscotta, Boothbay and Wiscasset. Those who want the reminder will have to go inside the office to receive it, as a 15-minute wait is required. As of this week, Moderna’s booster supply was low and the Pfizer vaccine was readily available.

If you can’t make it to the Saturday clinics and want the COVID reminder, you can also call your primary care physician’s office or go to vaccine.mainehealth.org.

The vaccination process begins with participants driving to register (don’t forget your insurance card) and then continuing to receive the vaccination while staying in the car. Clinics are open to ages 7 and up, and it is advisable to wear a short-sleeved shirt to facilitate the administration of the vaccine. All insurances except TriCare are accepted.
