Gary Wilson Bunch, 75, of Kingston, died Monday August 1, 2022 at his home. He was born on Wednesday October 30, 1946 in Fayetteville to Jesse Wilson and Fred Evon Duty Bunch.
He was a banker at the Bank of Kingston and a member of Boxley Baptist Church. Gary lived a colorful life, filled with countless experiences and surrounded by a multitude of friends. Taking full advantage of every opportunity to enjoy rodeo, quad biking and motorcycling, Gary lived his life to the fullest. In addition, the time spent fishing and enjoying the river with his “favorite grandfather”, Cole, were also precious moments for him.
Gary was predeceased by his parents, Jesse and Fred Evon Bunch; her grandmother, Orphea “Mama” Duty; and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Bunch, of the household; his son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Amanda Bunch of Kingston; and a grandson, Cole Bunch of Kingston.
Funeral services were held on Friday August 5, 2022 at Brashears Funeral Home and Crematorium. Larry Mitchell officiated.
The pallbearers were Dennis Donahou, Brad Hathorn, David Howard, Scott Webb, Derek Donahou, Chase Hathorn, Slater Shrum, Caiden Barron and Rick Culver.
Honorary bearers were Danny Bolinger, Tom Shrum, Joe Shrum, John Thompson, Jack Combs, Guy Teel, Bob Wilson, Jimmy Peacock, Freddie Fitch, Butch Fancher, Gary Farmer, Cliff Fancher and Bob Bunch.
Interment followed services at Kingston Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gary’s name may be made at the Calvary Baptist Church Playground Fund (PO Box 1019, Huntsville, AR 72740), Huntsville Friendship Club (PO Box 762, Huntsville, AR 72740), or Ralph Baker Scholarship ( 22185 Highway 23, Huntsville, AR 72740).
Services have been entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
