Bucks and Montgomery County editors enjoy seaside outing
The Bucks and Montgomery Counties Press League had its annual outing this year in Atlantic City. The members and their wives left Philadelphia at nine a.m. Friday morning. A special car was provided by the Reading Company in Camden and the head office was established at the Elberon Hotel at the corner of Tennessee and Pacific avenues. The hotel is owned and is under the personal management of Dr RB Ludy, former principal of Langhorne Public School. The party was well organized at the hotel and the opinion was that the Elberon was a first class hotel.
Automobile rides, “shopping” piers and theaters, and frequenting cafes were the main entertainment of the League party.
