ISTANBUL, 28th May, 2022 (WAM) — The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Istanbul.
During the meeting, the Head of Diplomacy of the United Arab Emirates conveyed to the Turkish President the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his wishes for growth and prosperity to the Republic of Turkey. The Turkish President returned the greetings and wished the UAE continued progress and prosperity.
The two sides discussed prospects for advancing cooperation between their countries in all fields. They also reviewed the situation in the region and the importance of strengthening efforts to establish peace, security and stability. The latest regional and global developments were also discussed at the meeting, including the crisis in Ukraine.
