Born Again’ will headline Phase 5 of Disney+ shows

Since the launch of Disney+fans wondered how the wonder would juggle their theatrical releases against their shorter television shows. If you thought TV shows would be a sideshow for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Phase 4 proved you wrong. Shows like “WandaVision” and “Loki” helped set the stage for some of cinema’s biggest events, and even more standalone shows – like “Ms. Marvel» and the next «She-Hulk: Lawyer— set the stage for big-screen crossovers.

So when Kevin Feige took the stage at Comic-Con this weekend to announce Phase 5, it was no surprise that Disney+ would play a big part in their future plans. While fans already knew that shows like “Secret Invasion,” “Echo,” and “Stone heartwould all hit the streamer in 2023, we now know these are a solid part of the next phase. The biggest announcement was the official announcement of “Daredevil: Born Againwhich would claim the last spot on the release schedule (Spring 2024) and feature 18 episodes, which is roughly double or more than most Marvel TV series attempt.

The show will be based on by Charlie Cox previous appearances in “Spider-Man: No Coming Home,” “Echo“, and its now teased”She-Hulkrole. Disney+ also announced that Vincent D’Onofrio would reprise his role – or some version of his role, given the nature of the multiverse – as the series’ pivot. Breaking with Marvel’s preference for short series, “Daredevil: Born Again” will last a total of 18 episodes.

Here is the full breakdown of Disney+ Phase 5 release dates:
