Annual 5 / 10K Turkey Trot Scheduled For Nov 25 –

The Ridgefield Public Schools Foundation holds its annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25. The run starts at 9 a.m. and features a 5k family walk / run and 10k run, which start and end at Union Ridge Elementary School in downtown Ridgefield.

Registration fees vary from $ 20 to $ 35 depending on your age group and the event you are registering for. All proceeds go to the Ridgefield Public Schools Foundation and the Ridgefield Family Resource Center. Race file pickup and in-person registration will take place Wednesday, November 24 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and race day from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the gymnasium at Union Ridge Elementary School. A limited number of additional t-shirts will be available during the in-person registration event.

During race package pickup, participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Ridgefield Family Resource Center. Each item donated will allow you to enter a raffle for $ 100 in local restaurant gift cards.
