The Houston Grand Opera has announced the return of its HGO Digital, the Sarah and Ernest Butler performance series for the 2021-22 season.
The streaming platform is set to return with HGO Studio Showcase, showcasing the work of HGO Studio artists.
Release dates: Dec 3 2021 – 2 Jan 2022
The next one will be “The Snowy Day” which will air on its world premiere.

Jake Heggie’s “Three Decembers” is back with Susan Graham headlining.
Release dates: Dec 10 2021 – Jan 9, 2021
The company will also broadcast the 34e Eleanor McCollum Annual Competition for Young Singers Air Concert.

Lauren Snouffer will take the stage as part of the “Live from the Cullen” series. She will perform music by Debussy, Berg, Schubert and Will Liverman. Joseph Li accompanies him on the piano.

Tenor Lawrence Brownlee’s âGiving Voiceâ concert will continue in its third season.
Release dates: March 19 – April 18, 2022
Michelle Bradley will headline the second performance “Live from the Cullen”. She will take care of the music of Mahler, Barber and Spirituals. Patrick Summers accompanies him.
Release dates: April 8 – May 8, 2022
Federico de Michelis and Emiliano Messiez will conclude the trilogy of “Live from the Cullen” performances in 2021-22. They will tackle tango, chamber songs and even jazz.

To close the season, âSuite Española IIâ with Ana Maria Martinez, who is interested in the music of the Spanish-speaking cultures of Central and South America.
